The Ward shop opened in May 2010 and is our 4000 sqft. outlet store with a big selection of surf and stand up paddle boards.  This shop specializes in SUP boards, paddles, accessories, rentals and service, with one of the biggest selection of SUP equipment you will find anywhere.  In addition to the boards on display in the front, we have even more boards available in the back, giving you a large choice of designs and colors.

Rental/ Demo surf and SUP boards:  At Blue Planet we have a great selection of surf and SUP boards for all levels- from beginner to expert, with some of the best performance boards available to rent on Oahu.  If you are traveling to Hawaii, don’t bring your own board, you can rent a great board from us for less than it would cost you to bring your own and risk damage.  Click this link for a current list of available rental boards and rental rates.  You can even turn any new board in the shop into a rental board by paying a $75 new board premium. You can call our shop to reserve a board if you are renting for 4 or more days.  Try before you buy offer:  You can apply up to $250 of rental fees towards the purchase of a new board, so hold onto those rental receipts.  We also offer monthly storage for personal boards.

Consignment sales:
If you have a used board in decent condition and good repair and want to sell it at a reasonable price, we can move it for you quickly at Blue Planet Surf Shop. If you have a used board/ boards, please bring them in and we can tell you what we think we can sell it for. Let us do all the work and get a good price for your board. No gun shapes, please.

Consignment Terms:
We pay the owner 80% of the selling price within a week of the sale. You set the selling price but we will not take in boards if we feel they are overpriced. A board placed on consignment can be taken out of the shop at any time, if a board does not sell within 30 days, we mark it down by 10% every 30 days until it sells.
